Paiste 28" Planet Gong – F#2 Jupiter (183.58 Hz)

The Paiste 28" Jupiter Planet Gong is tuned to a fundamental of F#2 (91.79 Hz), with the Jupiter tone of 183.58 Hz one octave above. The tuning comes from Hans Cousto's calculations in The Cosmic Octave, which make the orbit of Jupiter audible.

The 28-inch size strikes a perfect balance between depth and brilliance. Jupiter's sound is broad, generous and majestic – a warm, full fundamental crowned by bright, expansive overtones.
