The Paiste 24" Venus Planet Gong is tuned to a fundamental of A2 (110.62 Hz), with the Venus tone of 221.23 Hz one octave above. Its tuning follows Hans Cousto's calculations in The Cosmic Octave, which translate the orbit of Venus into an audible frequency.

At 24 inches, the Venus gong is bright, responsive and quick to speak. It has a warm, sweet and singing character, with shimmering overtones that bloom easily even under a light touch.
