Paiste 32" Planet Gong – D2 Mars (144.72 Hz)

The Paiste 32" Mars Planet Gong is tuned to a fundamental of D2 (72.36 Hz), with the Mars tone of 144.72 Hz one octave above. Its tuning follows Hans Cousto's planetary calculations in The Cosmic Octave, derived from the orbit of Mars.

The 32-inch Mars gong delivers a rich, powerful bass with a strong, clearly defined fundamental. Played softly it is warm and steady; played with more energy it becomes fiery and driving, building into a thrilling, full-bodied roar with long sustain.

Mars is associated with energy, strength, courage and willpower. In sound healing it is used to activate, energise and motivate, and to help listeners reconnect with their inner drive and determination.
