The Paiste 24" Uranus Planet Gong is tuned to a fundamental of G#2 (103.68 Hz), with the Uranus tone of 207.36 Hz one octave above. Like every Paiste Planet Gong, it is tuned to the planetary frequencies calculated by Hans Cousto in The Cosmic Octave.

Uranus is one of the liveliest voices in the series. Its sound is sparkling and energetic, full of unexpected overtones that dance and shift as the gong opens up. The 24-inch diameter gives a quick, responsive attack and a surprisingly full body, making it easy to move between delicate textures and bold swells.
