Paiste 32" Symphonic Gong

Paiste 32" Symphonic Gong

The Paiste 32" Symphonic Gong brings the deep, commanding voice of Paiste's classic Symphonic series to larger rooms, gong baths and concert stages.

Symphonic Gongs are Paiste's original gong design. Each one has a slightly raised surface without a central boss and a universal sound structure: a clear fundamental balanced by a complex web of overtones. They are not tuned to a single planetary pitch, so the sound changes dramatically with the mallet, the striking point and the playing technique – from a soft, shimmering whisper to a thunderous crash.

At 32 inches, it produces a dark, powerful bass with long sustain and a huge wash of overtones. Played softly it creates a deep, enveloping hum; played harder it builds into a dramatic, room-filling roar – the kind of sound that anchors both an orchestra and a full gong bath.
