Paiste 24" Symphonic Gong

Paiste 24" Symphonic Gong

The Paiste 24" Symphonic Gong is a compact, versatile gong from Paiste's classic Symphonic series – the same family of gongs heard in orchestras and concert halls around the world.

Symphonic Gongs are Paiste's original gong design. Each one has a slightly raised surface without a central boss and a universal sound structure: a clear fundamental balanced by a complex web of overtones. They are not tuned to a single planetary pitch, so the sound changes dramatically with the mallet, the striking point and the playing technique – from a soft, shimmering whisper to a thunderous crash.

At 24 inches, it is bright, responsive and quick to speak, with a surprisingly full body for its size. It is easy to control at low volumes, travels well and suits smaller rooms, making it an excellent first gong and a dependable choice for mobile sound healers.
