Bhargavas Flatback Male Tanpura
A rich, portable male tanpura with a flat back instead of a round gourd, ideally suited to travel and performance. The flatback design is slimmer and more robust than a traditional gourd tanpura, yet still produces a deep, resonant drone.
Male tanpuras are larger and suit the lower tonic (Sa) pitches used by most male vocalists.
