We receive a lot of different tabla sets from our various suppliers over the course of a year. They don't all arrive in perfect condition. Sometimes the bayas are dented, or the tablas have a slight buzz. Sometimes the heads are split and we have to rehead them.
We sell these drums as our Student Tabla Set.

These drums are eminently playable.
