Made for us in Mumbai, this foot pumped harmonium harkens back to the original instrument designed in France. You pump with your feet, so both hands are free to play on the keyboard. With a continuous flow of air, you get good sustain even when playing full chords. It has a very pleasing, organ like tone.
It measures 31" high by 28" wide by 16" deep. For transport it folds into itself into a box about 18" high. This is a 3 reed instrument and the keyboard spans 3 1/2 octaves (from C to a high G). There are 7 stops and 6 drones.
